Kangaroo Pouch Bloxwich is a 49 place children’s day nursery, opened in October 2017. The setting was the former Bloxwich West Children’s Centre, which was acquired by Kangaroo Pouch in early 2017, keeping a valuable asset for the community open for business. At Kangaroo Pouch Bloxwich, we provide full day care as well as morning and afternoon sessions. We also provide funded sessions, including 30 hours funding for eligible 3 and 4 year olds.

At Kangaroo Pouch Bloxwich, we believe that every child is unique and we will deliver care based on the individual needs of a child. Your child’s learning will be supported by provision of top quality resources and experienced, caring staff. We use the latest childcare software to map the progress of children, which means that you will easily be able to see what your child is doing on a daily basis.

The building consists of large, vibrant rooms, allowing free-flow play. There is an excellent garden area, where children can further their learning and development via outdoor play and exploration. We have a comfortable, yet stimulating, baby room for children just beginning on their educational journey to help them progress to the next stage of development quickly and effectively. The building also has robust security, with a buzzer system for entry.

Our wonderful staff aim to put children and parents at the centre of everything they do. Staff will ensure there are outstanding parent partnerships, keeping you informed of your child’s progress and encouraging your involvement in your child’s education. Our staff believe in continual professional development to ensure that their knowledge is always up to date.
